Is there anyone that is getting work with this company?
I sent in my profile in 2009. I did not send the $295.00 membership then.
I received a call yesterday to say the Company has work with Wells Fargo in my area.
With so much going on in the industry, I was wondering if anyone is happy with this company

Yes they are back. I just received a call from Dennis @ AbsoluteREO (ABSREO, Inc) saying they have a listing in my area as soon as I pay the $295. Told him I wanted to check them out and would call him back. When I called Dennis back and told him about the 37+ pages of postings that were all negative, his response was that that was just a small percentage of agents and many more agents were happy with their services. I asked for some names and # ...he said have a good day and hung up.

Beware! Absolute REO just contacted me again also! I, too, had spoke with them in 2009, but did not pay their $295.00 and have not heard a peep from them until today.
They must have started up a call center again......."when we last talked we had very few properties in your area, but now things have changed and we have an over flow of properties in your area......we want to send you a new property to "work"." When I inquired if it was a BPO or REO he said BPO only but it "might" be my REO later.....
I was racking my brain going Absolute REO...it sounded so familiar, but I could not place it.
I was on the road to met with a buyer to give them their keys and said I could not give an answer until I got back to the office and took a look at their info he had emailed me, which seemed OK to him, but he called back within the hour and wanted me to give him my credit card and change the $295 which he had not mentioned before. Then it all clicked in.......I remembered them from 2 years ago, said NO THANKS and got off the phone.
I just received a call from Absolute REO Solutions saying that I had applied with them, and that they now have an assignment in my area. I listened to the whole shpeal. I then asked, "What banks do you get REO listings from?" Their reply: "We work with a lot of mid-sized and smaller lenders." I then asked, "Like who?" Their reply: "I'm sorry, we can't give you that information...." I cut him off, "Sorry I'm not interested".
Come on. Really? Your telling me that I have the potential to receive BPOs that turn into REO Listings, but you can't tell me WHO they would be coming from? BIG...HUGE Red Flag! (As if I'm going to take whatever name you give me and hunt them down myself to try to get my own listings from them? BAHAHAHA... yeah... tried that already and got nowhere.)
I was an REO listing agent for 18 months, closed about 60 transactions. To get into the market you MUST have a connection. I'm happy to PAY someone who has a connection, much more than $295...but they need to prove to me first that those connections exit.
