Anybody get this email from RES.NET

Dear Agent,

You recently received emails last month from PMH instructing you to upgrade to a RES.NET Professional membership per their new requirements.
Currently, RES.NET has a promotion for PMH agents only. If you purchase a RES.NET Professional level membership by April 30, 2012 and use promo code PMH30April12, you will receive 30% off a Professional Level membership.
Don’t delay, as this promotion is good until April 27, 2012 only.
Additionally, if you register at a Professional level membership, you are eligible to attend our Summer Summit for FREE! This event will be held June 3rd-6th in Grapevine, TX at the Gaylord Texan. You can register at www.summersummit2012.com.

I've gotten this email twice from RES.NET. The problem I have is that I have never worked for PMH.  Never got an email from PMH. I don't think I have ever had any contact with anybody from PMH in any way, shape, form, or fashion!

It looks like  RES.NET is simply tyring to get me to upgrade with a con job!

  • I got the email also.

But for the last few weeks, I've been getting similar type emails from res.net mentioning different vendor management companies. This time is was PMH.

RES.net is pretty legit and is required to work with REO's. I guess they just want to get subscribers to upgrade their membership.

    • I am also getting those emails mentioning the opportunity to work with certain management companies.  I already have assignments from some of them.  I am on the Premium package which was required by Konduar.  None of the others have requested I use the Professional package except PMH which I have never worked with.  [When I asked PMH if that will guarantee me listings, they replied in essence, of course not.  PHM does seem to participate in promoting a variety of REO activities including REOCON, Open Door, etc, which I think is a good thing.]  But I am disappointed that res.net would use this kind of tactic.

      • I do not know if it affects listing volume but the upgraded membership has paid off for me in other ways. I can access all of my completed tasks for as long as the property is in the system and there are several other back office features that have cut down on my administrative duties. I hate the fact that it is more than double the premium subscription price though. Makes me cringe everytime I renew.

  • I have signed up with PMH and never gotten anything. I talked with one of there vendor managers and he said that 40% of there work is done through res.net and 60% is done through equator. I am still debating to upgrade as I got a call out of the blue to list two small condo with my premiuim membership which would pay for the professional then to.

  • yes , i work with pmh and they did change requirements to upgrade to professional although my work was fannie mae related and they lost contract in january and no new assets since, so...not sure why
