Hi, Trying to grow my business. I didn't have a good experience with Single Source. They pay $40 for a

BPO and promise listings. No, don't think so. Too cheap and no listings.

I would recommend the following:

24 Asset Management

Equity Pointe

Thank you in advance for your help.

  • It depends on your area but VRM, Keystone Asset Mgmt, Green River Capital and FAS are some AM Co's I've worked with. Many are not assigning this time of year, out of respect for the Holidays. Don't ever use a paid for service other than something like Res.Net to be seen by AM's for Listing assignments, and even them I'll get maybe 2-3 a year...I signed up with tons of sites about 10 years ago and it has paid off, but don't ever pay for them. Even Res.net I usully let expire until they Offer me a discounted rate ;)  Good Luck!

    • Thanks, this is not my 1st ballgame though LOL. I would never pay for anything even RESNet.

Have you ever heard of REO Lister? I'm getting lots of emails from them but they are blank. Really weird.

Yes, I signed up for tons of BPO companies but dropped but all but Clear Capital and AVM. Really like the way they pay and on time. I'm just really sick and tired of doing them. Burned out I guess.

Just wish I had put all that time and effort over the years into signing up with REO companies instead if BPO's.

I'm working with Equity Pointe and 24 Asset. So, I've got some experience under my belt now. Thank you so much for the recommendations and I will surely contact them. Have a great Thanksgiving :)

  • Single Source is a good company to work with.  They may offer the BPO at $40.00 but I always counter with my minimum which is $70.00 or more depending on location.  I get over 90% of them at the higher fee.

There are only a few companies that won't negotiate on the fee but I've found most will especially if you are in a rural area with limited comps.

    • Yes, Single Source pays well. All their properties were in extreme rural areas and usually torn to bits. After 5 yrs of BPO's and just one listing, I quit them. The listing by the way was jerked from them due to title issues they didn't know about until I called the attorney..HA That was strange. Be wary of any listings they send you, I always check with the attorneys to make sure all is good. Glad I did on that one!!

  • Single Source is one of the better AMCs

REO listings are a bit shy right now ( Nov 2013) from all the AMCs.

Hedge funds gobbling up right now

    Good Luck

    • Yes..you're right. I'm working with 24 Asset and Equity Pointe. Both great! Thanks
  • For BPO's Goodman Dean and AVM are two of the best out there. I have had REO with Goodman in the past. Both good BPO folks to work with.

    • I've been with AVM for 10 yrs. Clear Capital as well. Just trying to add another that assigns listings. Thanks Frank
