Is anyone actively doing BPOs for Altisource/Ocwen and also receiving REO listings as a result?

I have done 75+ BPOs over the past few months for them. I know that they have a decent REO inventory in my market, but it gets spread over quite a few agents.

When I asked them about assignments, they mention that the assignment procedure has been completely automated. They said that there were quite a few agents signed up for them in my area, so it "could take some time."

Anyone with inside insight on how to accelerate the process? I realize that they have their own listing agents in a few states, but WA is not one of them.

  • The company Altisource does there listings now. They cancelled all of us agent for there listings. I would not do a bpo for them for the life of me since the way they have been doing business with us agent. They are really terrible.
  • As far as I know they have a corporate officers that  actually lsit their assets, meaning that they do not hire agents to do so. I have been in several meetings with them and they have no room nor intention to hire agents to dispose assets, so you may want to keep looking for some other companies, and enjoy your bpos while last.
  • You might have more luck waiting for the cows to come home.
