First I would like to say HELLO!I did a quick search for the last 2 hours or so trying to find recommended BPO companies and could not find a great answer. So I was hoping to start a discussion on the topic. Aggregate the best or top recommended companies to get started in the REO world. Say the best 50 or 20 or 10 or whatever.So please respond with the companies you use the most or feel does the best overall job for us agents. I will aggregate the responses and create a blog or another discussion with them all.I feel this would be helpful after going through the partners list and finding a lot of bad links and companies that may not be any good.

Just keep applying. I have applied to over 100 and I am still applying. There is a list on this forum, just start at the top and apply to all of them. Some weeks I get them from one company, next week it's another. I have even recently received one from a company I applied to over a year ago. It is just like prospecting, you don't send out 1 letter in hopes of a listing, you send it to the whole community.
On this web they post a msg to urge all licensed realtors to petition and write to influential people keeping BPO. It sounds like Pro-Tech is trying to get realtors urging BPOs are to stay? Does anyone have a clue if BPOs are to be reduced?
I have not got any work from Pro-Tech for a month. They sent and asked me to do more than I can handle but now it all stopped?
Applying to 30 companies not hearing for months is common today.
I do suggest those busy agents looking for assistant to ask if you can help. These senior agent will coach you and
may be able to get your foot into the door for bigger and better opportunities.
Patience. If one happens in a metropolitan area it is likely the AMC got all the agents they need. Until there is attrition chances that there aren't any openings. If you are in CA or Florida good luck. The numbers I hear is every 10 homes there is a realtor and every 30 homes there is a broker. They all need some supplemental income.
Flexibility. There are, however, small asset mgmt companies that occasionally call you asking you to go beyond what your interests are. I was asked to take photos of house every 90 degrees w/o a BPO. Later they asked to just shoot a picture of every room from 4 different angles and uploaded about 49 images w/o a BPO work. Lately I was asked to rekey and cleanup. It sounds like I was doing REO work but the company is not into that business.
Getting paid. Be aware of companies that offer you job and months go by you have not been paid yet. Just because you have not got paid does not mean you want to disengage your affiliation. The most demanding company does not pay most agents still have many agents wanting the work.
I have applied to many Companies (maybe 30) and have so far been turned down by all of them that have gotten back to me. What is the key for them to approve you as a BPO agent?
Clear Capital, PCV Murcor, RRReview, OCWEN, Emortgagelogic, mainstreet, w-mreo, AVM, and imortgage are my best BPO clients, they pay and after doing so many BPO's their forms are easy, Good luck
If you go to the NABPOP site, they give a list of companies that works well. Also, there's lists on Activerain.com. Everyone has their own war stories and i you are starting, it's best to keep reading the forums and get the knowledge you need to start doing BPO's.

I am in southern CA. with no real experience except volunteering for HUD so I will need all the luck I can get.
I guess the good news is that many of my classmates in college work for banks and I am just now starting to meet AM's through them.
