BPO Automation

Hi Everyone,I was hoping to get some opinions on the BPO Automation software. If there is anyone out there using it? I was hoping to get your take. Does it really work? What are the most advantagious parts of it and the least advantagious. Does it suck up the computer to use it or do use it on a seperate computer?

  • I signed up with BPO buddy at Five Star last year, I didn't like it, their support was horrible, the macros didn't work, I cancelled after 30 days, I have been waiting for Realty Pilot automation, and it might be a while before it works, I never got a call back from Nicole Ocean last year.

Last month I had a call from BPO BUDDY, they offered me their apologize for the past issues, they also told me that they had made good changes and ask me to give them a try, I just renew my monthly subscription with them, and I can testify that their product is working good. the macros are working good for all the companies that I use, and I am signed up with a lot of companies.

I am saving about 75% time with this program, I highly recommend it, and if you are using ebrokerhouse they can customize it for you to save you time from inputing information on both programs like I was doing before. Their customer service is great, I was very impressed with their fast response and the personalized attention that they gave me to set up the export on my MLS and set up the macros and make sure my system was up and running.
    • I wanted to know if anyone knows any auto acceptador for iMortgage. Please let me know. Thanks.

  • We have been using the Macros from BPO Automation since August of this past year. It has allowed us to double our BPO business which has been critical in our slower market. Learning curve- big time but for the computer savy indiviudal, its not rocket science. THey have made some changes to their company since we've joined that now give you access to all of their macros, the customization which is needed is the portion that requires your learnign curve.

  • I purchased BPO Automation. Nicole Ocean has another class coming up soon. Very expensive and I really have only used it a couple of times. It is quite the learning curve. Technology is changing so quickly. I beleve the person who wrote their own macros is probably just as effective. However, I would not know how to do that.
  • I use a bpo automation software and it has cut down on my input time. It was quite difficult to get it up and running but now it seems to have paid off. It doesn't work for every company but 75% of the company's I use it works for.
    • which software do you use?
      • I use Nicole Oceans software. The customer service leaves a little to be desired since they are such a small operation. But if you are a little computer savy once its installed you can work through the macros and getting it going.
        • Did you change to the new pricing structure with on going fees or stick with the original way it was marketed?

  • I have seen these in the NFSTI training and it is very impressive for those who are doing a lot as Sam have commented. Nevertheless, I am very suspicious and convinced that it does not apply to everyone/everywhere. If you are in an area with a lot of development or similar tracking home/large condo complex...I believe it can help. I am in an area where property can be very diferent by their year built, lot surface, lot configuration, view and other criteria which need to be heavily considered and commented. I am aware that some agents in my area are doing more BPO than I do on weekly basis and log as: " similar as subject property!" ...This is easy and does not really help the lender/AM and it is not the purpose of the BPO. I am afraid automation software will not considere enough the unique criteria of this property or comps to justify the real value and/or concern of subject property as drainage, foudation, usable lot surface Vs. not, unverified expansion...etc. Many property, especially multi units do not have any surface criteria entered in MLS and Tax record... What will do the software about these ???
    • Thanks Alain, I do not know how it can be smart enough to know these types of things myself.
