Staring in October of 2012, I did 20 property inspection reports for Broker Price Inc.

(Walt Coats is CEO). I have not been paid a cent yet, despite several requests. The accounting department does not return my call. Has anyone here had good or bad experience with them?

I am having the same issue.  Have not been paid for any work completed in 2013.  Spoke with the company this morning and their response was that the would let me know( when I might expect payment) in 'about 30 days'.

Pretty disappointing.

They will set a new date when 30 days are up. Tell them you will accept new assignments when the check arrives.

I put  on my bad list december 2012. Still owe for one or two reports.

Today I got a call from broker price opinion with an apology and a promise of a check next week.

So all I got was a promise so far. Not good

Don't wait for them to read it. I would print this and send it to them. If companies realize the community is talking about them they may shape up.

Looks like they bounce emails too.

Ed - U R not alone!

Since I quit doing BPOs willy nilly - my RE income has gotten back to where it should be. I nearly went broke doing them for 15-20 companies and was gettng paid. Now, I do 1-3 a month @ $100-$125 each and am able to spend time on real estate like I should be.

Ole buddy, you ain;t gonna make any money doing $40-$50, even $60 BPOs. They come in my inbox every day and I just delete 'em.

Hope have not done any for evalonline

Marvin Shelley, Broker

Thanks Marvin. There was a time I did lots of them. I've cut down to 1-3 a month also, mostly for Secured lending (IREP). They've all got more demanding and to do it right takes me a few hours, especially if I am tired.

I am getting older and need to work less, but smarter. Maybe I should just say no, 100% of the time.
