Yes I get some REOs but I'm still after traditional and short sale listings. Anyone had luck with REDx, Landvoice, or having someone else make your calls? i.e Bob Fitzgerald team at VIP Prospecting keeps trying to get my money and it's no chump change. They state they guarantee appointments and they do send you a list of customers that use them. But in the back of my mind I'm skeptic. Help! Tell me what is working for you? I need more business.

  • Based on what other agents have said in real estate agent groups on Facebook, I would avoid Bob Fitzgerald. I used Landvoice for a short time. In some areas, the numbers are more accurate than others. I would assume you would be using it to call expired and FSBO listings?

Jonathan, I am getting a little concerned with your responses in the forums. You constantly mention REO Education in every post. Do you work for them?

    • Thanks Kevin
    • Kevin, I see that you mentioned Landvoice in your last response.  I last used them a few years back but found that many of the numbers were disconnected.  Have you had any success with them recently?

      • Nope, didn't have much success with Landvoice. I subscribed for 2 months and dropped it. Some people have more success than others depending on the area.

        • I have been using RedX for over three years with good success but within the last 6 months I find that most of the number is incorrect thinking about dropping them

    • I am an instructor with REO Education.  I mention the company because I know that the program works.  I use it.  I know that most of the time when agents are trying to break into the REO and BPO business, they rarely receive the in depth information that they need in order to make money in the business.  They only receive bits and pieces.  I am also on the forum looking for more information that I can use to grow my business as well.  My hope is that individuals will take advantage of the free trial and see what the program is about.

      • I had actually signed up Jonathan, but when you plug it in every forum response, I think it hurts your credibility. We're all here to exchange ideas and help each other, not to plug products.

        • I do not think credibility is an issue here. Let's say for example that this forum was designed to assist people with incurable diseases. If I had a product that cured all of those diseases and I myself had an incurable disease and used the product and I am now healthy, would it not be advantageous for me to tell others? I only respond on the posts of individuals that I actually feel I can help. And I also found other agents' posts including yours to be extremely useful in growing my REO and BPO business. Keep in mind though that to a certain degree we are all here exchanging ideas and promoting something. But I do appreciate the fact that individuals on this forum are not afraid to share what they feel and be honest.

  • If you just want to try it free for 7 days without using your credit card or anything, then just sign up for the free trial if you like it, then sign up for the full program.  You will definitely increase your income.

  • I am an agent who has closed over 60 REO deals in the last 24 months and I have built a team who assist me with completing up to 5000 BPOs per year.  I have used REDx and Landvoice, but, I hate cold calling.  That is not to say that you can't be successful with cold calling.  If I had to pick, I would use REDx though.  You can generate more business using the BPO company and REO company list at www.reoeducation.com though.  They do charge chump change.  $29.99/mo to learn to become a preferred vendor with BPO companies.  You would also receive 100+ BPO and REO companies to sign up with.  You would also receive video training on how to service, sell and acquire more REO listings.  All training on the site is at your own pace video training.  The list of companies is updated monthly.  There is also a forum as well.  If you just want the list, that in itself is cool too.  You could just sign up and cancel right afterward after you download what you want.  But, I assume that if you need more business, viewing the videos and following the process would be better for you.  Honestly, if you follow the process and only do 1 BPO a month, you would pay for your membership.  But, like I said, I do plenty of BPO business and you will definitely not have time for cold calling.  I think I will check out that Bob Fitzgerald guy though.  I wouldn't mind getting more business if someone else is doing the calling.
