  • I have had more than one bad experience with Resolute. They are unprofessional, they don't respond to request from us and then when something goes wrong, it is our fault. One property was taken from us after we did the trash out and rekey. Another property was sent to auction after we had a contract. Today they canceled our listing on a property that was under contract and I found out they have been contacting agents that showed the property. They are truly awful!!!!!

  • We have not had a problem.

  • I have worked for them for a couple of years. I am curious about your bad experience.

  • I just closed a property a few months ago. From eviction to final closing it was a good experience. They paid up and very good communication.
  • I worked with Resolute earlier this year,,,they want you to be their on the ground person..to go and door knock for homeowners who may be interested in foreclosure alternatives,,like modification,,but mostly they want you to try and negotiate with the owners to do a DIL "deed in Lieu" they offer incentives for the owners to do this. Now, I have completed several with them and the premise is to become the listing agent once the property goes into REO. I was assigned 12 properties over a three month period..I negotiated three of them for DIL and one for a loan mod. On the very first one,,the owner was approachable,,and was interested in doing the DIL,,,but his ex-wife was still on the loan,,,they since divorced and her whereabouts ,,unknown,,so I had to do some detective work to try and find her,,I tried all social medias,,with no success,,so since we could not get her to sign,,could not do the DIL,,it went to foreclosure,,and when I inquired about the listing,,they said it was purchased by an investor at auction.  No Listing. Second one, The home was vacant, abandoned...whereabouts of the owner unknown..so again I had to don my detective hat..I found this owner online,,social media...and reached out to her and explained the program,,at first she was not interested...I explained that they would offer her incentive,,and left her my contact information,,,about a month later she contacted me and said she was interested...I connected her with Resolute and Selene...the DIL was successful!! I thought great,,I am going to get a listing!!!...NO...when I inquired about the listing they said that...another servicer was assigned to this property and they used another REO agent,,even though they said they would tell them that I negotiated the DIL and was detrimental in getting the owner to complete the DIL...and I was also a Premium REO listing Broker with the company that it was assigned to,,,I had closed ,,numerous deals with them....but nonetheless I did not get the listing which went on to sell for $259,000 potential commission $15,540....Lets just say I WAS a little pissed off...I called my POC at Resolute,,let's call him Clay L. He said "Oh yeah,I understand..were gonna make it up to you,,,we got some new assignments coming in your area,,and you're going to be the first on our list"....that was over 6 months ago,,,NOTHING!!! ZILCH!!!...NADA!!! The final property..I door knocked,,,met with the owner,,he wanted to do a loan mod,,,I set it up with Resolute and Selene,,,they could not get him a loan mod due to his finances,,so he agreed to do a DIL,,but they could not agree on the incentive and it is going to foreclosure in Oct...they say "I am going to get the listing" but you know what,,,,I really don't give a SHIT!!! If I get it or not....I tried to contact Clay L. last week no answer to my calls or emails,,,No new assignments in the past 4 months,,,I guess they are not too happy with me,,,well that goes for them,,so if we have parted ways, that's fine...I am still listing REO's with my other AM's...and closed close to $2.5 Mil is closed transactions so far this year. But hey Rodney,,what was your experience with them???

    • Well for starters they contacted me and feed me all that crap about being the top agent in our market and THEY were so eager to work with me. ( I am a very busy agent and have sold well over 100 properties in the last 6 months), so I said lets give it a shot, why not? They sent me my first listing that day and then asked that we handle getting locks changed, grass cut, interior painted and property cleaned. Something I have never had an AM ask me to do. By the way the house was already cleaned, the grass was not tall and the interior paint was very good for a foreclosure. They said their investor wanted all of this done. I informed them of my opinion that it did not need to be done and that did not matter. So we went ahead and helped them get it done (mainly because it was a $200k listing). On this property its been well over 2 months and still none of the contractors have been paid, the grass cutter has cut the grass 6 times now. 2nd property we started handling over 2 months ago and still no listing and none of the contractors have been paid. 3rd property a cash for keys deal, the owners were promised $500 from them three weeks ago and still no money. When we questioned them about not paying the contractors and making us look bad to our contractors that we use a lot, they said we were being rude and re-assigned all three listings without even telling us. Yes it was Clay that I spoke with because he claimed to be the owner and he said that he did not want to undermine his employees by letting us keep the listings. What a JOKE. This company need to be investigated for fraud and i think i am going to help make that happen. Just looking for more instances such as mine to make it happen.

  • That is exactly what i experienced. I never understood why they even had us doing the Field Service work to begin with until I now see that they do not pay the contractors. I have advised all of my contractor's that they may want to get an attorney and file liens on the properties. We visited one property 52 times withing 2 months and then when we questioned why our contractor were not getting paid they transferred the listing to another agent without even telling us. They are a Scam!

    • Both of you and your contractors need file complaints with the local BBB, attorney general, and have the contractors file liens immediately. This is the kind of thing that cannot wait!
  • I looked them up and they appear to be a very small company of 6 people who are currently hiring an asset mgr assistant and a closing person. They work out of a residential property.
  • Which State are you in?
