Doing BPO's for Altisource

Has anybody out there completed any CMA's or BPO's with Altisource and not get paid? I completed some over 3 months ago and the company states that the orders are still under review. How can they be under review for that long if a time.

  • Has anyone every requested a higher fee from Altisource higher than the inadequate $40 that they initially offer?  I had been approving $60 for BPOs and $80 for CMAs upon request.
  • I get paid on them almost immediatly and do work for them almost daily. They deposit it right in my bank account. Who is the bank. I do only Ocwen orders.
  • Keep calling them for the outstanding income that they owe you, they will eventually pay. I have done business with them since 2007 and have always paid.

  • I've been doing bpo's for them for about a year now they pay in a decent amout of time, but i've never recieved a listing from them.
  • I just got accepted by this company-don't know if they have any LA county work. I am so grateful to all of you agents blogging and sharing info. This helps us all! Thanks for all your comments.
  • I also do BPO's for them and with direct deposit they pay pretty fast....but......there always is one right??? I received my 1099 from last year however they combined my brokers (commission) income, my reimbursement income, BPO income as well as the income of several of the property preservation vendors who did work on some of my listings (that were paid direct by Altisource). I have been trying since January to get this resolved and to add insult to injury, received eleven emails this morning, telling me they were rejecting invoices submitted on a property and that I needed to correct them....problem is, I did not submit any, they were from the property preservation vendors. My advice, make darned sure you keep good records on exactly how much they deposit into your account as their accounting department is quite a challenge to deal with.
  • Alti source /Ocwen is a little difficult. Everything seems slower. The use of primarily Indian HR does not help this issue. You know, while we sleep they do business and vice versa.  But I have done BPO's and CMA's for them for over 5 years and I can confidently say I have been paid for every single one. they pay direct deposit into your checking account. They regulargly give me REO listings too, off of my CMA work.
  • Me too, I do many BPOs for them and they always pay by direct deposit. My office manager did send me a note that some were missed in 2010. I sent them a list and they paid right away. So you do have to keep up. Everybody makes mistakes sometimes. My only issue is they pay less than everyone else. Usually #35 for a drive by. That's really not very much when you know they don't assign listings. They use their own Real Estate department now   Altisource and the contact number on the MLS is a long distance number out of state. I really don't understand how these companies are doing this without having a BIC in the state
  • I have never had a problem with Altisource paying;however, I have experienced a delay in the BPO approval process.  Have anyone notice that Altisource is charging buyers a $199 fee to purchase their property.
  • I do 10-20 a month for them and they always pay on time with their direct deposit. I see 7-10 days on average.

I had an interior order that I couldn't complete because the property had been foreclosed and was occupied by someone without an Ocwen loan. It took them 2+ months to delete it from my late orders. But payment wasn't an issue as there was no payment due on that one.
