  • I received an email and I'm wondering the same thing about EliteREO.  I'm posting this response to put this discussion at the top of the list in the hopes another REO agent will respond...and not someone selling a service.

Please update me if you find out anything and I will do the same.

    • Thanks Lisa, I've received another phone call from the EREO, but before any decisions will be made I would like to get more info from agents. Hopefully someone has some experience with them.

      I'll update you.

Lisa, I'm not trying to sell a service, just share my experience with them as a real estate professional.  Just so you know we are a brokerage company in Florida that does hundreds of short sales and REO's locally. Frankly I don't think we want or need agents like you.  Nationally we assign THOUSANDS of short sale listings and we do have alot of experience with directly dealing with Elite REO agents and as an organization.  Isn't that what you guys asked for?

I'm not even sure exactly HOW they work, but they have worked very hard with my organization to establish a good relationship with us and have connected us with quiet a few great agents around the country.  They also oversee their agents very good.  In other words, they are very concerned with having high quality agents and keeping their agents in line.  From OUR perspective, we really like this.  From actual asset managers, I'm sure they expect and appreciate the same.  In other words, they DO work hard to get business for their agents, that much I know.  If they work hard with US, I'm sure they work hard with asset managers as well.

Again, if anyone wants to actually contact some other REAL ESTATE AGENTS who DO work with them, you can search for them on our site and CONTACT THEIR AGENTS DIRECTLY.  We have at least 8-12 preferred partner members around the country from Elite REO on www.TheShortSaleGuide.com

If anybody needs a contact over there at Elite REO, we definitely know them all and will put you in touch with them.

        • Thanks for the reply Mike.  It was VERY UN-PROFESSIONAL!

My comment was in no way directed at you or your company.  I'm just trying to find out more about Elite REO.  I'm looking to hear directly from actual agent/broker experience.  Just like any other forum on this site.

I did not intend to offend you.  I have no experience with your company and I cannot speak to how good or bad it may be.  However, judging from your comment, it does not appear to be very professional.

For the record,  although membership to your company is no charge,  your company absolutely does sell a service.

I wish you all the best.

          Take care.

          • I was just on their website and it looks like it's a franchise company that requires your license to be transferred over. Mike, since your familiar with Elite can you shed some light on this?

            Thanks.

            • I kind of mentioned before Brent that I'm really not sure HOW they work, but I know that they do work. The heads have worked VERY hard with us to not only get more business for their agents but also to insure that their agents are doing a good job with us.

In other words, they know how to get and keep the business for their agents.  I know they were also set up as exhibitors at the REO Expo a few weeks ago as well.  Alan Stalter and Timothy Jones, Stephen Torres are a few of their agents who are with us off the top of my head.  I know Alan Pretty well.  Barbara Keila is one of the owners/execs of the company.  Hope this helps some.   You can click any of those agents above and go to their profiles on our site to contact them directly for experiences from actual agents of theirs.  We like them, I can say that much.

              • Elite REO is looking for Market Share and it seems to do that they are offering listings from their preferred REO partners.  It may or may not work I am unsure as I have not done it.  They want you to leave the company that you are currently with and virtually open up an office with them in your market.  I believe they are mainly a company that can offer you lots of BPOs.  Who wants more bpos?  I want listings.  I would shy away from them for right now.  When I asked the gentleman who tried to procure me to provide me with names, references of other agents working with them I never heard back.  Also google them, you will find virtually no listings under their name.  How are they going to get you business and they are barely doing any business?  Just seems strange.
                • They are certainly spending money setting up at these conferences, and we send them a good bit of actual listings.  I would suggest asking those agents I noted above that are with them to see what kind of business they are doing.  Leaving and joining a new brokerage is definitely a big risk...
                • I agree with you David, leaving company and joining them for a promise of getting assignments is too risky and costly.
  • I'm very familiar with them. We have quiet a few Preferred Partners who are with them.  They are OUTSTANDING to work with from our perspective, and have given us quiet a few excellent agents around the country.  If you go to our site, www.TheShortSaleGuide.com, and type in the name in the search bar, you'll find several of their agents on there.  We just did a dinner a couple weeks ago at the REO Expo with several of them as well.
