Good afternoon,

I am new to this forum and I thought I might put a couple of thought and question out there for people to answer.

first has anyone dealt with Equix-Trax and recieved reo listings once completeing bpo's?

Second I have been a bpo agent for 2+ years completeing about 40+ a month and I have even been contacted by an asset manager.  I know many of the bpo's I complete are for bpo factories but I would have thought by now that some asset managers would keep seeing my name over and over.  It has gotten a bit frustrating. I don't want to pay for asset companies list but if that is what is going to take then I just might.

Lastly has anyone dealt with the Asset company that has HSBC, HFC and their partner companies.  I work for a a bpo company that has them as a client and have been doing 20+ a month for the company and would love to introduce myself as an reo agent serving the Portland Metro market.

Thanks

  • A couple of things to remember about BPO's and REO's. When ordering BPO's most lenders request 2 or 3 at a time on the same property. Many times they order them from different BPO companies and the company you did the order for may not get the listing if the property is actually foreclosed on. I have completed many BPO's for Corelogic and Ocwen and I get most of their listings-many of which I have been completing BPO's on. Larger cities with more agents probably have all the listing agents they need, especially now with the inventory dropping somewhat. Just hang in there and there is a good possibility it will start happening.

  • 1) Never worked with them.

    2) Make sure you are doing BPOs for full-fledged asset management companies...not just BPO mills

    3) My good friend in the REO dept at HSBC emailed me this past week " I can tell that inventory is pretty light REO wise as we have had a year hold on our foreclosures, HSBC is in the process of starting to refer again so it may take some time before REO inventory picks up as the foreclosures move through the process."
    • I have been doing BPOs for HSBC for over 4 years through SLS. I have tried to reach out to HSBC many times and their response has always been "When the need arises for agents in your area, we will know where to find them" Please create an account at Equator.com. Of course I have had an account with Equator for years, I hold their platinum certification; I have provided HSBC with high quality valuations for years including their second opinion of value once the property has been foreclosed and have they ever considered me for a listing? NO.

Unfortunately my fellow Realtors being considered for a listing after completing a BPO is rare. I can easily guesstimate I have completed over 6,000 BPOs. How many lead to a listing? 2, I consider myself very lucky.

If anyone has a good contact on HSBC REO Dept and is willing to share their contact information I will really appreciate it, I believe I have earned their consideration through very hard work.

  • I just received a BPO order from Equi-Trax. Did things go ok with them?
