  • Hi Crystal.  Yes they are very hard to connect with.  My office broker/owner is one of the largest Freddie agents in Central Oregon and the only reason why is the broker they were working with could not find a home in our rural area.  He told his Freddie rep to contact her (my owner broker) because she knew the area so well.

It took her 3 days to find it - off Forest service roads and on to goat trails!  They started listing with her ever since.  Sometimes that is how it happens!

  • Hello Crystal. I just had an interview with Freddie Mac on Tuesday. Its a serious process. They will only talk to brokers when they need a broker in the area. Then you have to submit the pre-questionaire and where ever they are hosting interviews you have to fly or drive and meet them. But the bottom line is if they are not looking for brokers they will not call upon you. The account also stays with the company so if you EVER leave who ever the principal broker is will own the account. FYI...But there is an email address that I provided a while ago for brokers to sign up.
