Freddie Mac Vendor Supplier Request

They have sent me a to fill out a questionnaire in case they decide to open the gates for new REO Listing Brokers.  Something is cooking in their pots, I have received phone calls from the Washington D.C. area asking for my opinion on how fair the REO market vs Short Sales.  Visit them at:

Click “Doing Business with Freddie Mac”

        Click “Vendors and Suppliers”

Click “Vendor Information Questionnaire” located on the left side of the page under “Vendors and Suppliers”

  • Thanks for putting the website info for us to contact down and some instructions on what to do from there.  This is very helpful for me and many others that are trying to get into the REO business in our states!!  Thanks so much!!

  • Hello; I have visited with FREDDIE MAC in the last week (I am a FREDDIE list agent) with our area rep. The question of the supply of REO inventory for the next couple of quarters was asked. I was told that some areas of the US has large inventory while other areas do not. Which areas that are the ‘have’ or the ‘do not have’ was not mentioned.

Suggest you go on-line and apply. Also suggest that all communication be on-line and refrain from calling.

Byron, (great name by the way, Ha) sounds like your area may be a high REO inventory area - good luck!

NOTE: FREDDIE MAC is without any question the very best REO people to work with! They really care about local neighborhoods and the effect their asset has on them. Top flight maintenance coupled with capital improvements (carpet & paint etc) are the norm for all their listings. Our list experience: Higher values and our DOM is less than 10. Their program works!!

    • Do you know what area have a higher inventory?  Can you make a list of them for us?  I wonder if Kentucky is one of them.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!!  Thanks!!

  • Thank you Byron!
