Getting Reo Listings

I am sure this has been brought up in here in the past. I just managed to get my first REO listing with NewVista/ETCREO. I would like to apply with some other companies and would likes some guidance on which ones that would be good to work with and what ones to stay away from.

Thanks!

  • Hi,

I'm getting in, too and wanted to ask a few things about ETCREO. I looked at their website, the application sounds like they want to sign up offices, not individual agents. How did that work for you?

    Thanks

    • It does seem that way, but put in your cell and they call direct, I ahve gotten two listings from them and nice to work with
      • I am just getting all the E & O stuff together that most of them want. Thanks for the list!
  • I'm in the same boat looking to get REO's. Thanks for the list Juan.

    Any additional advice?

  • I suggest you start here: http://reopro.ning.com/page/reo-companies-1

Sign up with as many companies as possible. All companies have their own systems, processes and procedures. So, what may be difficult or cumbersome to some, may not be to others. Sign up, work with whomever is willing to give you the opportunity to list their properties. Eventually, you can weed out the ones you don't like.

BTW, congrats on receiving your first listing.

    • When I click on the companies in that list I get taken to a page for BPO National Database, something from BPO Automation Group, but each company takes me to this same website.
      • Blonde moment, tee-hee, never mind!
    • Why do people not know this list is available....or not using it?

      • Thanks Juan and Jesse for the recommendation. Looks like a great tool...I am working on making some contacts!!!
  • Check out the outsources to Fannie Mae. Also check out Chase Bank and their outsourcers. Bank of America, Wells. Try to network with other agents who from other cities as well. That helps.
