  • This looks like a knock off of "Specialized Asset Services" www.samreo.net. They even took their nickname of Sam REO. It almost feels like they are trying to trick people into thinking it is the same company.

Anton, I currently have a listing with Specialized Asset Services through Res.net. Is yours with Specialized Asset Services or Special Asset Services?
    • i am res.net certified.

here is the email I got from the eviction specialist this morning, I just deleted his contact info:

      REO Eviction Coordinator

      Specialized Asset Management, LLC

      8742 Lucent Blvd. Ste. 300

      Highlands Ranch, CO 80129

      Website: www.SAMREO.net
      • Yep, Just what I thought, we are talking about 2 different companies here. SAM Reo is legit (Specialized Asset Services). I'm not sure about "Special Asset Services"
        • Yup 2 of them (samreo.net) and (specialassetmanagement.com). The first one is legit i think - i did recieve aBPO request from them once through res.net (missed it as itwas sent to several people).. As for the second i paid the fee Dece 09 and i think it's a SCAM. do not sign up with them and do my mistake.

          thanks
  • Hi Anton
Are you RES.Net certified? Why do you feel they selected you for the 3 listings you have & the BPOs? I am also weighing my options as whether to sign up with them.
  • we never signed up but we are doing our 3 listing for them. they picked us out of res.net I believe. we did like 15 BPOs for them in res.net and then started getting listings.
  • Hi John,
I signed up, and i feel I did a mistake doing so.
Looks like they operate out of a po box in NJ.
My emails never get responded to and my calls always go to voice mail. I have since learned not to fall to those scams. I've tried to get reviews online about them but found none. Maybe someone here can shed some light (either agree with me or tell me otherwise).

I signed up in December 09. I don't recommend them at all.

    thank you
