Has anyone worked with USRES? Do they actually provide listing assignments?

I am an REO Broker with Wells Fargo/PASREO and Chase REO for approximately 10 years.  We just came onboard with USRES and are getting several bpo requests in New York.  However, they say that if they "pay us for a bpo, then we don't get the assignments.  Only agents that do BPOs for free are eligible for REO assignments"  Has anyone heard of this before? and has any agent received any assignments providing this "free" service to USRES?

I've completed BPO's for them and for every 15-20 I've received a listing. The listings are normally from BofA.

I did the free BPOs to about 20 and have received an asset. They're legit just be patient with them. The people there are great to work with.

i do not question if they are a legit company or not. I question if it is possible to deliver on their promise. I know there are Brokerage firms that have not doen ANY bpo's in my market area and continue to receive listings. I know they have a very large roster of agents they turn to to complete BPO's and do not have a ratio , in my area, that is anywhere near 1 for every 50 bPO's.. In doing 76 BPO's now, I have not receievd anything and others have received listings...

Just hang in there Jay. You know they have listings from the others you refer to. I had pretty much written them off when one day, bam there it was in the inbox.

I have done 74 plus in New York City and Nassau over the past year and received nothing...Nada

I did 50 bpos before I received any assignments. I sent an email an advised them, they apologized... and sent me 2 listings. Its been slow these last 14 mo.s.... no bpos, or listings-

(Although, they are a legit co.!)

I never did a free BPO for them. I received a few REO assignments from them but nothing recently.

Thanks Candace and Rafael for your input. I have to give this one some extra thought. With gas prices in my neck of the woods close to five dollars per gallon, any free bpo work is not too enticing anymore.

Hi Joe, i did over 20  free BPO's  for them with the hope to get some REO assignements but i never received one.

This is the way USRES operates. Their forms are really easy, they are quite plesant and hardly every QA anything.  We have a soft spot for them cause we got our first ever REO listing from them about 4 years ago after completing probably 25 bpos. They are very easy to work with on the REO side also. We probably have had less than 10 REO's from them ever and rarely even get a free bpo request any more from them. I think their volume has declined in recent years in the area.
