  • Until the due date and time.  About 48-72 hours.

  • Hey Michael,

I'd like to offer some free advice here if that's alright!

I've been blessed to personally experience and see the answers to the question you asked through not only from real experiences of thousands of our software users over the last 8 years, but also as well as from my own experience doing BPO orders and have found that people with average computer skills can finish a typical BPO report by hand, without the help of BPO AutoFill software in about 1 hour. Those with the software can complete them in as little as 15 minutes.

There are so many factors involved with your question though like what's the computer skill level of the real estate pro, how good they understand how to use their MLS, how good they are at pulling acceptable comps, if they use the NABPOP's BPOSG, which company they are doing an order for, how complicated the form is and I could go on here for awhile....... The main point is how long it takes you to do one and the average fee you are willing to accept to do a BPO report. Everyone is different.

Since 2006, when I was doing BPO orders the average fee per BPO has dropped, this is a harsh reality in the industry and thise that have been around a few years have been affected by it too. From my experience, I'd say the average Exterior Drive-by BPO now pays $35-$40 and Interior BPO orders pay $50-$65, the fees used to be higher.

I'd like to recommend looking at our free BPO companies list to help you learn more about which companies you want to work for, it's been pretty helpful to many. Here's a link to it and best of luck with everything: www.bpo-companies.com

p.s. I think I read your question wrong, most companies give you a few days to turn around and complete a BPO order. You'll want to get it turned in within 24 hours of them giving you one to really stand out from the crowd, to be eligible to increase your vendor rating for that company and to help increase your chances of becoming a prized "preferred agent." I hope all of this helps!

  • I average 20-30 min per BPO in front of the CPU. Drive time varies but I figured out that it comes to about $28-$32 per hour.
