The US Department of Housing and Urban Development intends to announce the asset management award contracts under M&M 3.7. As part of the award process, winning bidders will be required to retain the services of real estate listing professionals in support of HUD's single family Real Estate Owned (REO) property inventory.  OH professionals may now register with current contract holders and will be eligible to apply with new contract recipients .  Registrations will close when coverage needs are met in each geographic area.

Please attend one of the online meetings scheduled for Tuesday, June 17, 2014 (listed below) to receive instruction on how to apply as a HUD  Local Listing Broker/Agent. There is no participation fee and no registration fee charged by any HUD asset management partner.

  • At this point HUD has not selected the vendors for M&M 3.7.  They were anticipating publishing the RFP by 3-31-14 however that has not yet been done.  Who knows when they will get this finalized but when it is, each vendor will be published and brokers can apply to each vendor directly.  There is no charge to do so and no reason to use some service that promises you a leg up in the process.  They cannot deliver on the promise.

  • I get several of these emails every week.  At first glance, they all seem to be coming from different companies, but if you check the web addresses they all point to a holding spot for internet marketing.  I haven't been able to track down an actual company for any of these emails, which leads me to believe it's some sort of scam. Some of addresses are:

    reoassetsource.com

    federalreoapproval.com

    assetassignment.com

    flaggedreo.com

    fedhomeprogram.com

    federalreodefaults.com

  • No. I am in Georgia and I am waiting to try and become local listing broker.
