I have had a great experience this fall attending the REO and related conferences. In a time when the industry is ambiguous at best it's refreshing to become a student of the industry. The last conference I was fortunate enough to attend was the AREAA/NAHREP conference in Las Vegas and it was loaded with insightful information and top-notch presenters/panelists.Coming up this weekend is yet another conference that appears to be an offshoot of the REO industry: The Mortgage Servicing News Loan Modification Conference in Dallas TX at the Westin City Center. I wish that I could be there, but my schedule has me on a plane to NY that day.Does anyone plan on attending this conference? I have a colleague from Denver who will be attending and is looking to meet up with others.Let me know if you plan on attending and I can set you up with my friend Jason. He is a short sale wizard and is now going the extra mile and has a patent-pending system that he calls "Enhanced Recovery".
