Pls see below...recvd it this morning!!!Important Announcement from New Vista Asset ManagementPlease be advised that, effective immediately, New Vista will no longer process applications to join the company's network of REO agents and brokers. We have greatly appreciated the support of the brokerage community throughout the REO cycle, and together with real estate professionals who share New Vista's mission for housing and homeownership, we believe that we made a lasting impact on the markets we served. Our new business strategies will find us focusing beyond shortsale and REO listings, and we will no longer be a listing source for the real estate community. If you are currently handling a New Vista-managed listing for Chase, please continue to follow directions from your asset manager and work through the closing of the file.If you do not currently have a New Vista assignment, you are no longer required to update your information in our Network Management System. If you have not yet been approved for admission to the New Vista Network, please note that no further approvals will be issued. There is no need to complete any pending applications or to call about your application status. Our Network Services Department will be closing on Friday, May 17, after which date representatives will no longer be available to answer Network-related questions. Specific questions about current files should be directed to the applicable New Vista asset manager.Again, we thank the entire brokerage community for the hard work and dedication that turned thousands of REOs into homeownership opportunities. • Thanks for posting.

  • yep---- this "section of real estate" is dying...... hmmmm... I think I'm going to open a non-related to real estate business,,,,, this has become a night mare in s. florida...... very few listings avail and 20 agents making offers  at the same time..... really a nightmare......this is not fun anymore.....

  • REO inventory is rapidly shrinking, FNMA no longer uses outsourcers, seems like a natural progression.

  • I received the same email.  I find this very interesting!!

    • Ya know.....it seems there are going to be fewer and fewer a.m's paying 6%....they're all closing?...dang.....
