Old Republic Default Management Services Announces Name Change
We are excited to announce Old Republic Default Management Services (ORDMS) is changing its name to Old Republic Servicing Solutions (ORSS). This change is effective August 3, 2015. Below is an excerpt from the formal press release:
“The new name will more accurately describe our resources and abilities to enhance existing service offerings and to develop new strategic and innovative solutions for our customers’ needs throughout the nation. We are confident the change will also advance recognition of our brand and the trust thatOld Republic has earned in the marketplace,” said Mark Bilbrey, President, Old Republic National Title Insurance Company.
The change to the ORSS name will not affect policies, contracts or legal documents. We will continue operating as a division of Old Republic National Title Insurance Company and Old Republic Diversified Services for non-title related offerings. Changes that will be seen include the new ORSS name and logo in documents, email signatures, email addresses, print materials and the operation’s website and systems. When these changes take effect (8/3/15) the current URL DMS.Quandis.comwill “redirect” to the new URL (orss.quandis.com). ORT.Quandis.com will not change.
Reminder - Background Check Requirement
If you have already completed your background check for Old Republic in 2015, please disregard this reminder.
In January, 2015, we notified our Valuation Agent Network of our new requirement for all Agents to complete a background check through Sterling Background check. The background check is to be completed by all Valuation Agents no later than December 31, 2015. Old Republic is expecting 100% compliance in 2015. To date over 600 Agents have completed their background check for OldRepublic.
During 2015, as an existing member of the Old Republic Agent Network, you will continue to receive orders for all Old Republic clients that currently do not require a background check.
Once your background check is completed, Old Republic will receive notice from Sterling Background, and you will then have the opportunity to expand your eligibility and will receive orders from all OldRepublic clients.

I just can't get excited about doing the background check for them just so I can compete for $35.00 BPOs.
