RealtyPilot.com

I received the email below, which I guess all members of REOPRO received:

"REOPro's technology platform is www.RealtyPilot.com. If you want the opportunity to get an  assignment,  you must be a member of www.RealtyPilot.com."

Does the "assignment" above mean a BPO assignment or an REO Listing Assignment?  or both?

I can understand the need for us members to purchase a REO management tool/platform in order to work through the REO Listings that are assigned to us by REOPRO.... and were I to receive a REO Assignmeent from REOPRO, I'd surely sign right up for their required Platform, but not before.

If the "assignment" above means ONLY BPO assignments, then I can understand REOPRO making us buy their BPO platform in order to receive BPO Assignments.

Is anybody getting 20 or 30 BPO's per month from RealtyPilot.com?

  • End of March?? i remember it was going to be in February... You wrote saying someting about even if it takes a couple of month when you first introduce us to RP... it's going on three without a single BPO in all of Los Angeles or Orange Counties which is up to around 13+ million household. Something is not right...
    • Hey Richard,

Crazy as it may sound, I just am not working with anyone right now that has business in LA. Check the Altimeter / Activity Counter regularly so that you can make the right decision for your and your budget. I can't ask anyone to stay in when clearly I don't have business in that particular area.

Use the Altimeter / Activity Counter to your advantage, that's why we have it out there. We want our agents to know exactly what we are doing and where we are doing it at.

As for end of February vs. end of March, you’re absolutely right, things are taking longer than I thought they would. In fact, just so you know, some promises were made that weren’t kept but, that isn’t your problem and I get that so, check the altimeter and make a sound business decision for yourself.

Like JD said in the post before yours…,

“I guess I will wait until folks are getting regular ole BPO's and REOs before I consider joining because my marketing budget is so tight.”

I agree with him and hold no hard feelings at all. Marketing budgets are tight everywhere, especially in this economy.

Use the first 30 days free and the Altimeter as your litmus test, that’s whey we give those tools. If and when we don’t have coverage in and area and need coverage in an area, we will broadcast to the membership and you can make a decision then.

My point is, don’t pay for something, you don’t have a budget for and, not get anything in return, it’s not worth it no matter how good it is unless you can make money.

Let me be clear, I will never fault you or discount you or black list you from my network for that.
      • I'm not too sure that the Altimeter is working as planned. For the last 30 days it only showed one company requesting BPO's in the State of Georgia, with 25 request. Then yesterday it showed 3 companies with 1 request each. What happened to the other 24 request the first company had?

I had to drop the service due to budget restaints yesterday. Never had a chance to really use the program other then search for company's websites. It seamed that every asset manager I tried to contact had a wrong phone # or bad email address, or very rudely told me they had nothing to do with REO's. And there was no way to leave a note within the program about this. Add in the issues with the RETS system, for me it was un-usable.
  • Hi JD Moore,

The email blast you got was from me.

It's important to mention that the email you are referring to is a sister email to an earlier email where I as asking for coverage on 2 assignments in zip codes we didn't have covered.

As to your question about what type of assignments we have, let me explain.

We have 4 basic types of assignments.

The majority of our assignments right now are, Private Money Hot Lead assignments. These assignments come to us (REOPro) from our investors. What they have done is set up multiple web presences offering buyers and sellers a free CMA from a preferred local real estate expert. When the buyer / seller completes the form online, we receive the information and broadcast or assign that lead to a local agent who works that zip code and is using the RealtyPilot system. From there, our AM team will follow up with the agent weekly and help move the lead to a successful closing. At closing the agent pays back to REOPro a 25% Referral Fee. File closed.

We also can do BPOs, REOs and Short Sales. In fact, it’s very likely we are going to have some very exciting announcements before the end of March about these types of assignments as well but, that’s for a later date, I don’t want to give too much out here and now.

As for not purchasing the platform until you are given a listing…….well, doing it that way, you may never get a listing from REOPro. You see, when our AM Team needs an agent, they will first go to RealtyPilot and verify if we have an agent in the system already. If we do…great, they will get the assignment. If we have multiple agents in a zip code, we will broadcast it and first come first serve. Or, if we have an agent we have worked well with in the past, we will assign it to them. It all depends on business need, number of agents and working relationships. If all else fails and we need a new agent for a zip code we don’t have coverage for, we then will do an Advanced Member Search on REOPro and find an agent that works that zip code. We will then look at their activity level, how many blogs they have written, how often the contribute to forums and or add comments, if they have a website badge on their personal website, have they uploaded their resume, etc…etc….etc…. If all the agents we find haven’t done any of these things, we will then broadcast out to the entire network that we need an agent to cover a particular zip code and, that is what we did yesterday.

As for getting 20 to 30 BPOs a month from REOPro, no body is getting that because we don’t have that to send to any one agent. Now, that may very well be changing by end of March but, again….another conversation for another time.

In order to be clear with everyone, RealtyPilot isn’t owned or operated by REOPro. It’s a separate company with an incredible product. In fact, we have a REOPro group called the RealtyPilot Success Group so, if you really want to learn more about them, you may want to join that group. Just so you know, RealtyPilot is much more than just a platform, it’s a all encompassing default management / marketing tool and that is why we use them.

The other thing I want to be clear on is, REOPro, doesn’t make a single penny on your monthly dues to RealtyPilot. I don’t see any money from that at all! REOPro only makes money on our deals that close….that is our business model, pay on performance and we are sticking to it.

Lastly, RealtyPilot offers every the first 30 days free. So, if you sign up and decide you’re not getting enough business or it’s just not a right fit for you or whatever else, cancel before the end of your first 30 days and it’s all good. I also want people to know that REOPro unlike other companies out there isn’t hiding anything from you. With RealtyPilot we have an Activity Counter so, when you sign up for your trial you can actually see our assignment history. You can see exactly what business we have and how often we get it for the zip codes you work. Try getting that from REOTrans or RES.NET or whoever else.
    • Thanks for the overview Jesus. I guess I will wait until folks are getting regular ole BPO's and REOs before I consider joining because my marketing budget is so tight. If there was some zip code exclusivity, I would consider joining before that.
