I reeceived an e-mail from this company stating they were updating their website so REO brokers nearest the REO listing would receive the orders. They are asking for $75.00 to register or re-register. I don't normally pay fees to register for REO properties so was wondering if any one had any insight into this company. Also if you received assignments thanks

I just got my email today. I was beginning to think they didn't want me any more, but I guess email just takes longer to get to California.
Thanks for the reminder! That's a fee I will pay. I have never had a listing from or through them, but they still pay $50 for a BPO, so $75 is no big deal in my book. I didn't even know they assigned REO until I got that email. And they are a legitimate company, not some fly by night scam.
I just got the same email, after doing BPOs for them for several years. No REO assisgnments, or even a hint of one. My reaction to the demand for $75 is not something I wish to share in print, publicly.
I am fairly insulted by the greeting, "dear valued real estate professional". Can't read it without some heavy sarcasm. I feel anything but valued.
Thats exactly how I feel! Thanks for the feedback!
