VALLIGENT ????

Anyone hear about Valligent? This company is requesting agent for exterior inspection as $ 25 fee to be completed within 24 Hours. Is this another company for out of country company such as India or Pakistan ?

  • I guess East Texas is really behind the times!!  LOL  Just this past week 10/28/11, I received two inquiries for the $25.00, 4 hour turn time, CMA request.  As always, I try to check out new companies before I agree to do any work as I have been burned in the past.  If anyone still reads this (since no posts since 4/1/2010) I would be interested to find out more about them before considerating any work for them.
  • They are a Valuation Company out in California...I've done several Retro MLS Searches for them. They email me 6 MLS #'s (most have been condos in the same building) plus they need 2 or 3 additional unique comps, printed in Agent Detail View, Scan into 1pdf Emailed back to them. They do need them back within 4hours but heck it only takes 15min max. Pay is $25 and so far they have paid pretty quick.
  • Good Morning Courtney
    Thank you for your comments.
It is already sometimes I am saying NO to some request as too low fees for too much work.
I believe we will see more change in the near future as more company are increasing their task
on the BPO form and decreasing their fees at the same time. It is true that there are more agent
available on the market and Valuation Company are taking advantage of the situation.
This is a common sense. But as in the other discussion related to this subject, more agents are on this
market will less experience and care less as long the task is completed fast for less money.
But in other hand is what you get is what you pay for. Valuations company are competing to each other
as turn around but also quality.
There are a few company that I don't say NO even they are very difficult to pay. My answer is "sure I will do it for you
because only for you, but I have to receive the fees before completion!"
So far I have not suceeded but it is not a NO!.
The object of my comment was also and I have heard as OWCEN is using one broker for his license and are dealing
from India or Pakistan to cut all corner. Therefore using as many agent to complete the task for ridiculous small fees.

  • Hi Alain,

First thing that I do when I see something like this - google it. A united "NO" is merited for these companies. Do google in, there are several logs about this company. REO PRO had a prior discussion on Valligent, see this:

    http://reopro.ning.com/forum/topics/valligent-1?id=2122473%3ATopic%...

I am starting to say "NO" more often. My time and experience is worth more. Good luck!
