Hi all! I'm just now getting into commercial. My background is in residential sales along with property management of multi-units. Looking forward to networking with you all and building my commercial business.

Johnny, we know about 200+ Bay Area hotel assets that are under water. Email me so I can refer you to my bank asset source who catches hotel deals - typically non performing note sales.

Mario, do you know any asset managers that specialize in hotels/motels values from $2-$10mil? I'd like to talk to you if you do.

United Commercial Bank just was acquired by East West Bank via a FDIC brokered deal. Those two banks will have tons of commercial loans in default to deal with. Luckily for EWB, all the UCB loan losses are covered. This makes for EWB a more motivated seller of bad assets.

What successes have you achieved with commercial asset managers lately? I have been on the phone for the last few weeks and the doors are wide open. Some commercial REO departments aren't even staffed up well yet. Look at Monster.com and search OREO - the list is long - these departments are hiring.

I am also new to commercial real estate. I just attended 5 Star and has some awesome conversations with CCIM. I have partnered up with an 30+ year commerical agent in my office and we are signed up with CCIM and ready to rock and roll....
