Hi All,
I work mostly in the Oakland (East Bay Area). I get listings from Richmond down to Fremont. Business has slowwwwwed big time. Sure its the same for everybody else. Still getting a few each month not many....Anybody having any luck with Shortsales??? Thanks, Ron

Hi,
I work the west Contra Costa and Alameda counties. Moved 40 props in the last year.
Increased eviction on my part has helped to keep me afloat, lately. Some pickup on the horizon.

Tell me about it. My buyers submitted 12 offers so far and did not get it. Someone always outbid him. It is very frustrating.

Does anyone having luck able to to winner of REO sales? I encountered 56 offers and the bank is still taking offers significantly higher. For every 2-3 business cards left on the kitchen counter there is at least one offer. Most are higher than asked for in 400-500K range(SC County), cash or >50% down mostly.......

Thank you all for the great information. It makes a person feel better knowing they are not the only one having a challenge breaking into the REO Market. I work Stanislaus, San Joaquin, Calaveras, and Tuolumne Counties where we have seen so many REO properties come on the market and just wish you could get a small piece of the business!

The BPO work from several Asset Mgmt Companies coming to South Bay seems to have stalled. Anyone received new REOs first time from anyone at all?
