REOMAC as the host/founder of Five Star events has a member on their board that is with a company who is a fraud. I just sent REOMAC the following message:

"Does anyone at REOMAC know anything about AMS4REO.com? I see that LeeAnn Axcell is a Board Member with REOMAC. I along with numerous other agents have invested hundreds of dollars signing up with there company for REO business and have never heard any more from them. Their telephone numbers do not work and emails bounce back. Is this the kind of people you elect to serve with your organization?

Times are really tuff in this business now-a-days and money is hard to come by as often our contracts fall apart due to no fault of the agent. ADD to that companies such as AMS4REO to "dupe" us out of $300- $400 with empty promises is even worse!! Especially when you have no recourse and your money is "thrown away" once again.

Lesson here - don't trust you or any other company that says they are trying to help the consumer, banks, agents or whoever - they are really only trying to help themselves."

We shall see what their response might be. It is very concerning to me that a company with the reputation of REOMAC and the success they have with the FIVE STAR events would have people involved with them that have no respect for our hard earned money than the two with AMS4REO.

I have been to the five star for the past 5 years. I think I'll pass next year. There were a high percentage of agents new in REO. I did meet two or three of my current clients and that was worth while. I did have to chase them for weeks before the meeting to arrange coffee. I bet the cost of ziplining in Puerta Vallarta was less money and more fun!

I didn't make it to the conference this year (went ziplining in Puerta Vallarta instead) but have attended for the last 3? 4? years. The conference has alway proven to be a great learning experience but still haven't broken into the old boys network of actually meeting and talking to AMs - not even the ones I work with! Sigh...

Loved the 5 star conference, but agree with the classes were more for beginner REO agents or agents trying to get in instead of experienced agents. I had a great time though and will go again next year.

What an action packed conference it was! Very well organized and what a great experience for a first time attendee! Hope everyone had fun and made the best of it.

Hi y'all. Think that is how it's done in TX. Anyway, I've attended several of their conferences and I personally know that they like to have feedback. So, if you'll email Brandi Jobe and let her know what you liked and didn't I know they will put it to good use. I personally have several suggestions, so we will see.

I do agree with you Linda. I had a lot of fun at the 5star but the courses and seminars where a little to general. They did not have enough meat to them. They said this is what types of things you should do with no details to them.

The contacts and social events where good but would have liked to see more useful information for the amount of money that this required.

PS I had a blast and liked talking to people I met from this site. Thanks

Hello All! I'm sure like the rest of you that attended Five Star last week your like me and still catching up on work! I made some contacts and met alot of you which was nice! It was my first time at the conference and in Ft. Worth and I was impressed with how the Five Star folks put everything together! I think that the count was 6300 that attended - a rather daunting number but things seemed to come together. Ft. Worth was a very welcoming city as well, perfect place to hold and support an event of that size.

I was however, disappointed with the courses and seminars. They didn't have much content or relavence for me. Just curious to hear your comments???

As far as next year - I may consider attending and if I do will definatly reserve my room early at the OMNI so I'm closer and bring comfy shoes for walking :-)

Bye for now, Linda
