Sylvia, sign up with every one listed here under partners and at least start getting bpos. I am in a rural are that hasn't been hard hit and I still get 5-6 per week. This doesn't count the offered ones that I can't schedule or that my co-workers beat me to. Start getting your name out at your current brokerage and it will come.

Find them A/M's and get back to work! ;-) It's a whole lot easier to re-kindle those lost contacts then get new ones right now. We only have 30,000 agents in the Atlanta trying to do the same thing right now! The work is out there, you just may have to turn over some new rocks. Good Luck!

Hi Steve, thanks for the encouraging words! I'm completing a handful of BPO's monthly, maybe 5; and no listings. I've spent a lot of money with different REO sites and I haven't seen a return on my investment in the last 7 months. I've sold and listed REO's since 2006 successfully. I did change brokerage firms in Nov. 2008 and it maybe coincidental, but I lost contact with some of the AM's i worked with after that and listings came to a screeching halt. I'm not a quitter, I've just got to do something different.

Your in my neck of the woods! No reaso to go inactive, I've been running wide open since April and not showing any signs of slowing!

Hello GA Agents! I've been waiting on a group just for Georgia agents. I've recently put my license on inactive status while I decide where to hang my license. My primary area is West Cobb, Douglas, South Fulton. I look forward to sharing and exchanging info with all of you. Be safe!

Hey Everyone!! Tried to paste the link to this article but failed miserably. Go to DSNews.com and look up the article for Freddie Refines Appraiser Guidelines in the Daily Dose section. If you are not signed up for this news letter, try it. Very good stuff. I learn something new from them almost every day.

In the West Cobb/Paulding area where I'm at, REO's are the about the only thing selling, and for me it's been all new construction REO since the first of the year. Lucky me I have a team and usually let one of them work my buyer inquires, but I have not even looked at a resale house in maybe over 9 months. And so far we have not had a problem with out REO listings getting funded at closing, it usually getting the buyer qualified that's the problem.

So far this summer, activity has been really good and I'm about to run out of listings. After today I will be down to 4 REO listings from 25 at the beginning of the year. I'm going to start knocking on the doors to the banks here soon!
