When you get an assignment and you arrive at the home and it is vacant should you go so far as to use a skip trace service to locte the home owner or is that too much?

I have been with Titanium Solutions which I think is a great company with a great mission. I was wondering because after doing about 27 assignments over the past year I have yet to get one listing.
