As a former AM and now an REO realtor I experience the same thing. Most of it is patience. What AM's hate more than anything are phone calls and a lot of unnecesary emails. And always, always read your instructions in detail so you do not have to bother the AM. I. also, every time I closed a property, send a gift basket thanking the AM for the listing along with my card. When I was an AM, these little gestures meant a lot because it made us realize that there were some agents out there who really appreciated an AM's hard work. But make sure AM's are allowed to accept gifts, I just send a gift basket that can be shared by all. Most companies will allow this. Because I live in the DFW area there are many companies located here so I take some of the AM's I used to work with to lunch every few months. No, I still haven't gotten bombarded with listings but patience will eventually pay off for me. Keep plugging, you are in a very competitive market area.
