I am stuck with a negotiator at Flagstar that won't budge. Does anyone have a contact at Flagstar Mortgage so I can go up the food chain?

Are short sales getting easier?

Posted on November 6, 2012 at 1:38pm 2 Comments

I just closed a short sale in 60 days. The bank was Wells Fargo with one loan. With a cooperating client, true hardship, one loan, in Equator, and V.A. as the investor, what was there not to like?  The buyer was an all cash investor who wasn't going to walk away when the going got rough.  Can you believe I got 18 offers the first day? Posted on June 21, 2011 at 8:06pm 4 Comments

I recently obtained a client who lost his job a year ago.  He did all the right things.  He contacted his lender, applied for a loan modification, made the trial payments which extended way past the three month trial period.

When he could see that his loan modification was going nowhere, he went to a HUD counselor and completed the credit counseling.  His loan server finally said he was not qualified for HAMP.  BUT, he did qualify for an approved HAFA sale!

That's where I came… Continue
