In addition to doing property preservation I am a traveling Real Estate Closer. I have 12+ years experience as an escrow officer, loan officer and was an Operations manager for a wholesale lender.

I had a closing this evening that went downhill from the Very start.

Docs are late, I get 2 of the 3 emails with the docs. Have to push closing back 30 minutes, then 45 minutes, then 1 hour.

Finally get last set of docs, call borrower and let him know I have them and I am… Continue

We get the standard eviction assistance order in Harris County. As with all evictions we check the house out the day prior to meeting with the constables. I drive out there, peek through the windows and notice A LOT of furniture. So proceed as usual. We load up a team of 7 and we are at the house 15 minutes early. Pop the lock and we are in. We realized very quickly that we were in DEEP! The moving company walked around shaking their heads and left everything as is. They didn’t want to go… Continue

We had a yard to mow. Regular Augustine grass, that WAS 2 FEET TALL> not the weeds the grass. The neighbors asked if this was the yearly mowing. I guess you take the bad with the good. My husband would not allow me to walk in the back before he cut it due to possiblity of snakes. * our yard guy was bit by a copperhead the week prior to this job.

had to get through this to get to the back yard…

Went to change locks on another home today. It appears the local kids have taken a liking to this home, we found mattress upstairs with candles, and a whole lot of damage. According to neighbor the kids down the block have decided this is there hot spot. They have caused so much damage to this home.…

Yea, they both have their plus and minus. The field service companies are so cheap... but they pay ontime. I get alot of work from Realtors also, but some of them like to float money around a little too much. If I'm not getting paid in at least 60 days... theres a problem.
