when will we see an increase in REO inventory?

What should we expect in the first quarter of 2012. We just heard the big news the banks settled with the federal goverment and have to pay money to some homeowners whom they foreclosed on. Does this mean they have green light to foreclose? Or is it more complicated than that? Also, we just heard more news on the robo- signing recently, the top 5 servicers have reached an agreement to settle for 25 billion dollars. Are the Reo flood gates about to open soon? Altisource? Good, bad and ugly.

Has anyone out there done paid BPO's and will they eventually give you a shot to list some Ocwen REO property? I am hoping someone out there can answer my questions.

Does being minority woman owned help you gain leverage to get into asset management companies?

Please share some tips on how to become approved with asset management. I can share some tips from my personal experience. I have just basically attended every netowrking event out there. Join REO networking groups, talk to other agents who have already established relationships with AM's. Also, becoming an area expert an learning the local tenants laws and how they apply to your potential assets. If you have more to share, please do. Thank you!

REO listing assignment limits to radius

             I am sure you've heard stories about an REO agent in San Diego getting a listing assignment in Los Angeles, I am just really curious to see how many mile radius the asset management companies/banks are limiting you to I have had some companies cut back from 30 to 15 miles from office.
