I just received 2 listings from them, after doing proof reading on the listing agreement. I see that they would like me to give back 1% as a referral fee. Has anyone worked with them ? Any feedback or advice wil help..

thanks guys

How do you work with them? I've gone through an asset management and they took the referral not carrington. I've also heard they have recently laid off a large group of their staff.

Yes, I work with them. Yes, this is very typical and most companies charge some type of referral fee. I have enjoyed working with them. I just wish they would price the property more aggressively. They like to negotiate offers.

It is good to see someone reading the fine print on these things. I find many times that agents do not look at the fine print and get upset when the HUD 1 comes down and they feel they are getting shorted.
