Hello Everyone, Need your input! I recently received a call from BankersREO Management Company to complete a BPO on one of there Potential "properties". According to the person, there are no agents in my area. (that's a FIRST). The promise is to complete the BPO and if or when that partiular property becomes available to them, It will be My Listing. However, before I get the information, I will first have to pay a MEMBERSHIP FEE OF $399.00. After asking several questions, I understand they are New in the area and currently have NO INVENTORY. So far, they have called me three times. Is anyone out there working with this company? I am tired of spending $$$ on New companies that fall thru the cracks.

If you are thinking about paying $349 or $399 to receive BPO job assignments from BankerREO, do NOT do it! This is NOT a legitimate company and they do not have contracts with asset managers at the banks. They are a sham business. I was scammed by them and still trying to get my money back! A simple search on google for "BankerREO" will pull up dozens (or maybe hundreds) of stories about their fraud and how they are trying to dupe real estate agents.
I took at assignment from them after realizing they were a scam. Credit card company issued me credit because they had heard of this company. Stay away!
Lot of discussion about this group on some of the other sites. Over all impression seems to be "be very cautious."

I have recently joined Bankersreo team and also paid a fee of 349.00. I have receieved 1 BPO assignment and I am currently waiting for more. I have not been compensated the 75.00 dollars, however it has been less than a month and they say it takes 21 days to get paid. I"m not sure if this is a scam or not?
