Bleach
Try pouring a bit of undiluted bleach over them. After two days, you can simply pull them out, but be careful avoid not to get bleach on the plants.
Salt
Salt can do the job to get rid weeds. Mix about 1 cup salt in 2 cups water to a boil. Pour solution directly on the weeds to kill them. Also it is effective method is to spread salt directly uninvited grass.
Spray Vinegar
Spray vinegar to get rid of the weeds and or unwanted grass, as well as ants and other insects can keep away to your plants, but be careful not to spray it on your plants.
Carpet Scraps or Newspapers
Place a series of scraps or paper upside down and cover them. Use smaller scraps as mulch around your vegetable garden.
