@Yolanda Most of the food while you're there is paid for by sponsors and is therefore, FREE. The alcohol is FREE at some of the parties too!

Another tip is that you really don;t need a car while you are out there. Rather than renting a car for $35/day (for a Pinto), take the Super Shuttle from DFW to your hotel. The published rate is $17 . Use coupon code 'YUS68' to save $3 each way making it only $14 each way.

Five days rental of a Pinto = $175

Two Super Shuttle rides = $28

Total Savings = $147
