Offers Submitted On the Internet

The last two deals I needed to go on-line to submit the offers.  One site was very easy to use and the other site is not as user friendly unless it is the staff you get assigned to.  Has anyone else experience submitting all offers on-line?  Is this our future?

  • One of my clients is using www.Offersubmission.com I have to say it is a nice system they keep you updated with each step, the offer has been submitted you as the listing agent get a copy, the offer needs confirmed that you received all docs as the listing agent you get an email. You upload the offer into RES.NET in offers after it has been accepted through www.Offersubmission.com The only thing to me I would point out is that when it says your pending that is not always the case even though it says your pending on the title header of the paperwork and above paperwork headers you still have to get senior management approval at some banks.

    OfferSubmission
    Offer received. Guaranteed.
  • One of my clients uses offersubmission.com it is a good system, makes things easier for the buyer and buyer's agent, but they charge them $300 at settlement for this service. But I like it because it keeps everybody honest and keeps transparency in the offer submission process.

I also use ebrokerhouse for all my other clients, it is free for the buyers and their agents, it also let them know if there are multiple offers. I submit all the offers to my clients and grant access to some of them, but I am sure some agents out there use that information for their advantage.

I wish resnet and equator would do something like offersubmission or like HUD.

  • I've recently started working as a HUD Listing Agent and like their on-line submission system. Sure, there could be some improvements but it does makes my job a lot easier. I expect more and more of the big banks to go with an on-line system in the near future.
  • I deal exclusively with REO property, and all my offers are submitted electronically.
  • Jesse,

    What system do you use?

  • Hi Donna,

It sounds like you may have been putting in an offer on one of my listings.

I use a online offer submission software because, it greatly reduces liability, increases efficiency and is free.

It reduced my liability because, I can put my sellers email in the system and when offers are submitted, I get a copy the same time my seller gets a copy. This way, every offer is presented in a timely fashion. No one can ever say that I didn't present an offer. Not to mention, a seller can't ever say they didn't get an offer from me in a timely fashion.

It increases my efficiency because I am not bogged down with offers coming in at me from my home fax maching, my office fax maching or my email. They all come into one place and the software I uses gives me a copy of the PDF via email, ensures the offer is complete form the buyer and gives me a "quick glance" without having to open the entire file.

I love these sytems and yes...some are much better than others. Some are free while others cost a pretty penny so, to find the right one for you, you will have to shop around.

By the way, I also want to mention, my clients (sellers) love the online offer submissions. They only real complaints I have ever heard are from buyer agents who don't want to use them.
