REPLY Real Estate

I kept receiving calls from this lead generating company Reply Real Estate. I always said, "No". Then I received a call from Amber and she told me that it was a 30 day trial "Cancel Any time". I confirmed cancel anytime, I also confirmed that if the leads were no good and did not respond they would credit, she told me I would receive max 3-5 leads. She was so nice and assuring. I said, "Yes". BIG MISTAKE!!!!! I received 8 leads. When I responded and said that none of them were responding to my emails or phone messages and to credit, they replied with, "Thank you for your email. While we are certainly able to guarantee a prospect's contact information as well as their initial request for the aid of a realtor, we unfortunately are not able to guarantee the prospect's level of interest."

Then to top that off, since I signed up in the middle of the month my 30 day trial turns into basically 2 months. So now I receive 14-16 leads. Now they want to charge me $54.00 each. You add it up. And I have only heard back from 3 of the leads: one just wanted to know the value of his home for tax purposes, one just wanted to know the list price of his neighbors home and the other was not interested in purchasing or selling. So do they sound like viable leads to you? Talk about a SCAM....

I cannot get any reply from the company except sorry your trial ends on the 18th and you will receive leads up until then.

DO NOT sign up for this company...............

  • Need to check out their source for leads and complaints before signing up. They are aggressive in telemarketing. If offended one should not answer their phone msgs... They call like every 2 weeks. That is a 925 area code. I think there are a few new ones from Southern Ca....
  • I also had them for a short period with the same results. Organic leads seem to be the only way to go.
  • I had the same experience. This company is a sham! The sent me a bunch of bogus leads as well. None of these people were serious buyers or sellers, most never responded, others had invalid contact info and a large amount previously requested that the company cease and desist contact, but all they would do is give that person's name to another Realtor. If I had the time to file a formal complaint, I would. It only took me a couple of days to figure out this was a scam. Before I knew it, after only 3 days they charged me $350 for a bunch of bogus "leads"! They charge you per name and it doesn't even matter if the lead is no good. I was able to get my money back because I emailed everyone I could in that company and threatened to sue if I didn't get a refund. I called them every day until they credited my account. The person who actually refunded my account was Rhys Palencia, Client Services Specialist rhys.palencia@reply.com. Hope this helps.
  • Been there done that...I agree...cancelled them as fast as I started...got flooded with bad info leads... today am still paying the bill. As I have found out...most "sellers" are just people trying to get a value on their property without involving anyone.
  • I signed up as well, tricked by their promises. I started rejecting the leads right away as invalid. Surprise! My rejections were rejected! I kept telling them I refused any more leads and was taking my opportunity to cancel. I also clipped their promises from their website. But mostly I contacted my attorney who sent their collection company a letter. I haven't heard anything since. I don't think I will, but you have my name if your attorney needs it. We might need to band together. Good luck.
  • They call me all the time and it is SO annoying! Worse, their area code and prefix is the same as one of my bank clients, so I always answer when they call... thinking its my client. Argh!
  • Place a complaint with your credit card company and tell them to stop service. Others may have as well and hopefully, you'll get your money refunded.
  • Thank you for sharing... also do not sign up with Reo Tricker that is a scam too . Cost me alot
  • Never, Never, Ever pay for internet leads. You can go through a 100 Internet leads before you find a good one. Take only referrals that you pay when the home closes, otherwise you will go broke. Generate Internet leads by marketing yourself on the Internet. Always have a way for people to email you wherever you market yourself or a form to fill out.

  • This also happened to a REALTOR in our office, with the Same company. He is still trying to settle, but they are giving him a very difficult time.
