What Do Lenders Want to See.....

On a resume that is? I am now working on my second REO listing, but of course, want to increase my business with a more consistent flow of work/REO listings. What should a resume look like, specifically related to REOs? Any advise or a template would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!Kim

  • In my humble yet knowledgable opinion, i can't stress enough, it's important to quantify. If you do 20 REOs a month...say it. If you don't have REOs yet but, you sell 10 million in listings a year...say it.

Secondly, like the example above suggest, explain your team structure and show them your workflows. Make it look seemless and easily integratable.

Thirdly, REFERENCES ARE KEY!!!!!!! If you don't have references, this is going to get really hard. If you are new and looking for your first REO, ask your broker to endorse you, ask a title agent to endorse you, ask a lender to endorse you, get those references.

Lastly, but no less important, meet these people face to face. Read over my blog about how to do your first REO, it will explain a lot. Staci Cunningham has a great blog on how to do your first REO as well.
